- 포스트모던의 기호학적 표시,의미들을 잊으려는 현대의 집단적 열망에도 불구하고 보이는 모든 것들은 기호적 형상으로 넘어간다.
최근의 건축작품들은 표시에서 벗어나고 기호적 가독성을 전복시키는 방법으로서,
포스트-포스트모던적인 근본적 왜곡의 건축으로 빠쳐졌다(?)
(꼬아진 쌍곡선 형태, 늘여진 모양, 평면이나 표면의 극도의 연속성 등)
- 오늘날의 Parametric work : Parametric이 반복적으로 조정된 수량의 이미지임에도 불구하고 Post-modernism의 진화

건축의 특수성과 작용은 그것이 처한 상황의 독특함과 더 큰 분야와의 관계에서 일어난다. 건축적 생산품은 더 이상 마르크스 주의자들의 "us vs them" 같은 변증법적 저한 모델이 아니다. 건축에서 오직 시장 문화 안에서의 비평만 있고 그것 외적인 것과의 관계에서만 치명적으로 될 수 있는 것은 아니다.
Form과 Material에 대한 변증법적 반대입장

- Parametric : form과 material을 조화시킴 use → performance of architecture Architecture should prtform rather tthan simply form
건축작품의 질은 그것이 갖고 있는 문화적 landscape에 대한 특수한 상황이나 parameter에 의해 생성된 의미의 깊이에 의존한다.
